Hiring a CTO to take over from the solo, technical founder. The role involves building one of the most unique products in finance, inheriting a thoughtfully architected, event-driven application, and building a 5-10 person engineering team. The candidate should be obsessed with HCI and end-user computing, have experience with CRDTs and collaborative applications, be design-oriented, and excited by AI applied against observable systems. The role requires a deeply technical individual who has also built capable teams.
