Job Description

FunnelStory is looking for a Principal Backend Engineer to build their core product from the ground up and set the foundation for their engineering team. The role involves building the product from inception to V1.0, defining architecture, engineering processes, and cultural values, developing backend services and APIs with Go, Docker, SQL, and AWS, managing and scaling infrastructure, working closely with founders and engineers to design and develop new features, and leading and growing an engineering team as the company scales. Candidates should have 7+ years of backend engineering experience, 4+ years working with Go, SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL), and AWS, strong architectural and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex ideas simply.
